Wasnt sure if this should go here or in classifieds but i figured it was more of a discussion thing than a wtb right now so here it went. Feel free to move it if need be. But, anyhow, like the title says, anyone know any sources for complete accessory drive (alt, ps pump, ac compressor, etc) complete with brackets for a 4th gen ls car? And/or an ls powered corvette?
Getting ready to start gathering parts in the next couple months for my springtime projects. Pretty sure I need vette accessories for the 68 since I plan to keep the vette's front frame section and after driving home in the rain with the Camaro popping and sputtering the whole way I'm not so sure I want to curse my turd gen with an opti lol. I can come across 6.0 motors and car intakes reasonably enough but the truck acc drives won't fit either car. Oil pans are cheap enough too. The only really expensive hurdle seems to be all the belt driven stuff off the front. None of the yards seem to list anything and I never seem to find complete set ups on tech, just a bracket here and a pulley there. Is there a better source beyond pray you get lucky or bend over at the dealership for all of it new?

I assume you are looking for F-body drives? GTO and Vette are different.
Here are some complete kits http://paceperformance.com/search.ht...rive&go=Search

And, if I can find a decent deal on f body ones I'll ditch the lt1 I have and plop an lq4 in my turd gen too. But, I'm trying to see if there are any decent sources for a used set up. $800+ dollars just to put an accessory drive on the front of the motor is a deal breaker for me on the turd gen. I almost refuse to pay more for the pumps and brackets than I pay for the entire motor.

why do you want Vette ones? The F-body ones should fit better/easier. To put it in persepective for all used stuff you are gonna pay well over $500.00 and end up with used stuff. You can also add about another $150 for vette parts, much rarer and alot harder to get your hands on.

![]() Anyhow, even used the parts are still going for that much? Was hoping there was somewhere you could find the brackets for say $50-100 and figuring $50 each on ac, ps, and alternator. $2-300 seems reasonable for used shit. Even if you add another $100 for crank pulley and waterpump. Anymore just seems like robbery lol.

For vette stuff there is a good chance you will have to go to GM

Yeah that's what I'm afraid of. Anyone that usually gets them with a motor winds up keeping them.

There is someone selling the brackets and pulleys for $420 on ebay, but doesn't include any accessories
