Default Hit some downed powerlines, need some suggestions.

Last night the Pats won. After the game, I was headed back to my home in the snow, taking my time going 5 under the speed limit and about 10 minutes from my door, I saw some headlights swerving erratically all over the road. Then they ran off road and came to rest pointing perpendicular to the highway. Then I saw the explosion from the power lines and thought, "sucks to be that guy, I'll call the police for him in a minute."

Just then I heard "WHABBACAAKKIAAAAAA, THUMP THUMP WHABABBBBACVVVAKA." and realized that I was without a headlight and dragging something terribly heavy with my car. I brought her to a stop, hit the flashers and realized that not only did dipshit over there hit a power pole, but the lines went all over my side of the road and I hit every one of them in a less graceful Back to the Future style. After further inspection, I had 3 separate lines in my front bumper and out from under the rear of my car. I hopped on the phone to call 911 and traced back the 20-40 yards of line to find some of it still attached to a rather large broken section of the pole.

I walked across the highway to see the other driver (who was visibly drunk) muttering some bullshit about losing control of his Explorer (up hill in the snow!) and hit the pole. Hit is an understatement. He OBLITERATED the pole. It was a stump in the ground and his drivers side of the car was demolished. He kept asking me if I thought he could drive it home like that. Nope, you're waiting for the cops man. Which, speak of them, was the QUICKEST response for 6 police cars and 2 fire trucks I have ever seen. It took them a while to piece it together and to realize that I was merely the unlucky motorist in this one. After some questioning and standing in the snow for an hour and a half, they gave me my report and I went on my way. To my knowledge, they never gave the guy a sobriety test either.

Heres the initial aftermath, cell phone pictures. I'll put up better shots later this afternoon.
Oh, and for all who are wondering- I'm alright, a little shaken up because of the lines and sparks from the contact with my car. I wasn't electrocuted or hurt (thankfully!!), just a crazy freak accident that Allstate is going to rape some fool over.

The suv, hard to see but everything from the drivers door back is caved in.

Steel wires are no 'effin joke.

Pass side ground effect

You can still see some of the metal twine stuck in the bumper.

It could've been A LOT worse and I'm thankful to not have been electrocuted or anything. Another day of exciting life, now off to survey the damage in the morning light.

If anyone knows of a reputable, dedicated, and passionate classic car body shop in the Westport, Fall River, Dartmouth, Marion, Mattatpoisett, and general Southcoast MA area, please give me a name and/or number so I can have them challenge what will probably be a subpar estimate from the insurance adjuster. I'll even go as far as Boston if they're that good.
