Default Valves Meet Pistons = Lifters Get Mad

she saw some serious rpm back in october and wasnt to happy about it, been collecting parts and finally had time to tear it down. installing ls7 lifter set, moly pushrods, pac 1218 springs, a used pair of 853s with 20k on them and the obvious new headgaskets & head bolts. camshaft looks good so i havent decided if im going to touch it, i have a 20k mile stock cam as well and prob should do the timing chain, & oil pump but im tired of spending $$$$ on this thing! heres the status pics and damage
