Is it worth it to do an SD Tune so I don't have to get bent over for buying a 100mm MAF? Getting a new intake soon and I've gotta redo the whole ducting system. Was gonna do the FIPK, but it's expensive and some say that it's only good on a dyno and doesn't make the most power on the street due to the warmer temps.

^ Apparently I've been told to stay with the MAF till I reach a power level or airflow level that it can't handle.

to me thats something id leave up to a pro tuner. tuning a car that came MAF and tuning it out..... theres a reason they added them in the first place. you will make more power MAYBE and lose MPG. my car is OL/SD and it runs Great for what it is But its a bastard child and only gets 19-21 mpg. your car being just over stock tuned properly should see 25+ mpg and Great street manners. if your trying to tune it for max power? i dont understand the need to tune it if the AFR is right and the car drives fine?
