There are gas stations in Orange which is roughly the halfway point.
And April will definitely be too early, the trees won't even have leaves until early May. It doesn't have to be the first meet of the year, we can have meets year round without the cars, this could be the first actual cruise.

I say saturday that way the people who make the longer haul have time to recover...
(plus it works for me lol) also the further away from any holidays the better.

it will be a sunday. it will in a Far advance so that time off work may be possible. everytime we have had a Saturday meet we get a shit turn out. including myself alot have to work.
