The rarer 3rd gens (IE Formula 350, GTA Etc) are scoring some big prices now (even if their owner is an idiot). My father just got offered $8500 for his GTA with no engine in it and it could use a paint job. The original engine just went back in so he can probably get $10K+ for it if he decides to sell. Biggest thing is having a clean straight body and not having the interior shitted up.

pizza i sold mine. and
So it only has 69k miles but has been painted twice? It has a wothless off-the-shelf "chip" which does nothing more than advance the timing slightly(something you can do with a 9/16 wrench), a trans killer kit, a flowdisaster muffler(+1hp), and is basically otherwise stock, and *possibly* a 350(though more likely a 305). I'd offer him full amount with a stipulation; it goes on a chassis dyno. I'll give him $100 more for every 1hp over 275 it has, he gives me $100 off the asking price for every 1hp under. - He'll be paying me to take the car. Honestly, I picked up a damb near mint exterior 87 GTA t-top roller couple years ago(actually had a working trans, but blown short-block) for $600. It needs an interior, but that's the easy part of a build. - The body has zero rust, the only dent is in the hood(the pinch welds aren't even bent) and it has welded in sub-frame connectors. - If stock TPI motors are worth $6k I'm sitting on a small fortune.......
