All the above.

Still funny that a lot of people build these but never research having someone tune it after.

That sucks.

It's easier to name the places that are rip-off artists in New England.

From some posting I've seen, Frank is not wrong, and there is another shop in Manchester CT that's even worse.

On a side note this is one of the reasons I don't mod my car!

Don did say he could tune them if we coughed up the $$$ if I had a big HP turbo build I would be willing to fork it over, vs risk losing everything to someone who hasnt a clue.

Whats 1500 to a 10k+ build.

Its a lose lose for us. If you want to save money/get experience and do it yourself buying a cable and using tuner pro and winflash is a cheap solution. If you convert it to LS pcm then your spending 1500+ for that, and either 700+ for tuning software yourself or MORE to have it tuned.

I have been tuning mine myself with the help of Joe this past year and Pizza back in the day, I learned a lot from them. It is a good alternative for bolt on's and cam. Changing displacement and adding boost is a whole different ball game.

On a side note I'm trying to make my own 24x reluctor / junkyard parts kit for a cheap conversion alternative.
