Yeah, you really gotta ask yourself why you want that much power, other than just to say "I have XXX rwhp". Honestly, 400 rwhp is a LOT. It gets harder and harder to actually use more power.

tires do not make the diff..dont ever think that is what makes a diff..you could tub the shit out of it and run some damn 15x30's and still get in trouble with it..

That much hp and just mist,dew or little experince on a road can get you in trouble..with nitto's,mickets or gy eagles on the ass end..

Ok residential expert since you have had an f body at 500 hp lol we are talking about f bodies and yes tires make a huge difference. Tgis isn't a discussion about a 200 whp civic or vw that is uncontrolable on the street. Please atleast make your comments relavent to the convo. Also have sone first hand experience befire telling me i am wrong.

I know my car was a handful and didn't have 500 at the wheels. what it did have was a butload of low RPM torque.

Thats all tht matters to me. I like street cars. Torquey low rpm LT1's fill my quota. Thats why I'm not too interested in high rpm valvetrain portd heads and LS1's :P

First thing first..i dont claim to be a expert or claim i know everything..im always trying to learn more about shit..but i do know enough to get me by.


Now Lol,Your fucking dead wrong...Real question is have you ever drove a 500hp car on the street or even track?judging by your tire responce im going with no..You def dont seem like the sharpest knife in the box bro.Seeing with your theroy 500rwhp on the right tire will not break loose even in rain,dew,mist,oily,ice,snow or sandy conditions because its on the RIGHT tire..lol

Them must be them new tires out you know the ones that bond with the road as your drive and when parked the car couldnt even be lifted by a crane because of the super tires..




An first hand experience..hmm lets see ill use my last 4th gen seeing we are talking about these chassis now which had a 331sbc an was around 600hp on motor and 750 on a baby shot..had also a 406ci motor that made around 670hp on motor and was built for 300shot that was street drove in it..before i sold the car i was going to run outlaw drag radial with it an built a sb2.2 412ci n2o engine that made 881hp on motor and was setup for 500 shot.That was just my 4th gen car..but no your right i have no clue about power and street driving..


my low hp comment was also first hand..had a 88iroc with the pretty stock 350 that i daily drove,fucked around and drifted some with when bored and i could step the ass end out quick as shit in that car on nitto's,bfg's an eagles..all i had to do was give it barely any gas and if the roads where wet,sandy or oily the car could 180 on a dime..with its breath taking 200hp..

So how much first hand would you like..An if you read my shit i said to each there own..just giving the kid a heads up on how shit is an how fast shit can go south and what to expect with a car of the 500rwhp level.

So take it for what its worth and have fun..im not going to sit and argue over the net.

My car makes 370 rwhp i drive it all the time and it's like driving a civic everyday on spray it makes 450+ and i used it plenty not a handful or a big deal even drove through winter. Don drives 600+ hp cars daily on street winter etc.... With dr's my car will not spin on a roll unless on the jug and that is in 2nd or 1st tires make a huge difference. But whatever i won't argue with you but i did it do it and will continue so i guess i am wrong though lol
