Yeah, you really gotta ask yourself why you want that much power, other than just to say "I have XXX rwhp". Honestly, 400 rwhp is a LOT. It gets harder and harder to actually use more power.

tires do not make the diff..dont ever think that is what makes a diff..you could tub the shit out of it and run some damn 15x30's and still get in trouble with it..
As for saying 500rwhp is when it starts getting out of control is plan laughable..ive seen cars with 250whp be scary do to them being so damn light... That much hp and just mist,dew or little experince on a road can get you in trouble..with nitto's,mickets or gy eagles on the ass end.. Its his money..im just trying to give him sound advice..i been there and done it and now i dont build street/strip cars anymore..If i want a fast car for toying around it is a track car..To each there own though.. i know dont have nothing to prove with saying oh my car is a street car and makes x amount of rwhp..rwhp dont mean dick,its not bragging rights for any real car nut..shits like supra owners..i make 1246rwhp..yeah but what do you run in the 1/4..oh its super fast didnt you just hear what i said for my rwhp numbers..yeah i did jackass but whats it run..ummm a 13.48 <you see the point.. right setup 350hp will get you 11s at 3200#s

Ok residential expert since you have had an f body at 500 hp lol we are talking about f bodies and yes tires make a huge difference. Tgis isn't a discussion about a 200 whp civic or vw that is uncontrolable on the street. Please atleast make your comments relavent to the convo. Also have sone first hand experience befire telling me i am wrong.

I know my car was a handful and didn't have 500 at the wheels. what it did have was a butload of low RPM torque.

Thats all tht matters to me. I like street cars. Torquey low rpm LT1's fill my quota. Thats why I'm not too interested in high rpm valvetrain portd heads and LS1's :P

I laugh at those guys while I roll by in my cheap fun street machine knowing I don't work every week to mod my car. One convo with my friend was "I've got like 450-500 with the 6.0L 5.3 ported heads and fast intake then the nitrous is all over what do you have?"

So how much first hand would you like..An if you read my shit i said to each there own..just giving the kid a heads up on how shit is an how fast shit can go south and what to expect with a car of the 500rwhp level. So take it for what its worth and have fun..im not going to sit and argue over the net.

My car makes 370 rwhp i drive it all the time and it's like driving a civic everyday on spray it makes 450+ and i used it plenty not a handful or a big deal even drove through winter. Don drives 600+ hp cars daily on street winter etc.... With dr's my car will not spin on a roll unless on the jug and that is in 2nd or 1st tires make a huge difference. But whatever i won't argue with you but i did it do it and will continue so i guess i am wrong though lol
