I got 25k out of my 555R's on the Vette. Maddie just does alot of burnout's...LOL

I thought the NT-05's are a block design tread? That would mean they suck ass in the rain.

Where did you find NT-05's for less then 555's?

I have the 555Rs on the back now and I love them. Great traction on the street, at the track, and in the rain. I was told to expect about 15K miles of life, which is fine with me. The NT05s look pretty appealing, they have a 200 treadwear rating which puts them halfway between 555s and 555Rs, sounds like a good compromise. I might try them when I need new rears. I'd like to hear about their wet traction though.

I meant they were cheaper than the 555r. The regular 555's are cheaper. Now just deciding what size to go with

I found the NT-05 in 295/35/18 and 295/45/18. Not sure if i want the same tire size in back unless if i read correctly nittos run a little small on the the sidewall.

Only could find the Nt-555 in 295/45/18 and they are about 25 bucks cheaper.

Also found some Bf Goodrich g-force T/A KDW NT that are only a few dollars cheaper than the NT-05's.
