Dawg, Thanks for trying, but the EBay one is not an original. The auction has "Not the correct style. Item is new aftermarket". |

The parts that I gave him though were really in pathetic shape. The booster sounded like it had a lot of sand in it from deterioration and everything looked like it just came out of a dumpster. |
^^Yeah, that was me.
For restoring the finish on bits & pieces, check out Steve Gregori's work at www.brakeboosters.com. I just got back some hardware from him and it came out very nice. |

....Alfred just emailed me another 1969 picture of him and the car. This picture is not as faded as the other ones and it's before he put the fog lights on. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...8/ScottAFB.jpg He also said he is sending me one original picture. This one (with fog lights): http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...z28/Z28-01.jpg |
I wonder what the combined value of every car in that parking lot is right now.

Looking at vintage pictures like that never gets old. You start to pick up on other things - like the 5-spoke wheel/ Polyglas tire combo on the car next to him. Great stuff.
