It's getting close Dawg. Today I spent 1/2 the day painting and 1/2 the day trying to beef up the old barn in front so it doesn't fall down.

The deck is done and the garage doors are in. The garage is looking good but I didn't take any interior garage pics.

The exterior is not painted yet and there is probably 1-2 weeks of work left on the interior.

Today, I'm going back to work on the old barn. The barn was made around 1880. Here's what the old barn looked like in 1988. It looks a lot worse now and the silo in the picture fell over.

Work is progressing. The 2nd owner's son stopped by today after visiting his sister who lives in Simsbury CT.

For a while now, I've known a lot about the 2nd owner. He owns an insurance company in Florida now. He used to own a law firm that was in one of the twin towers on 9/11. He told all his employees to get out and right when they exited they saw the 2nd plane hit.

His son was super nice and he stopped by with his wife (or girlfriend). His son is a drummer, guitarist and sound engineer that lives in NYC. He mentioned wanting to buy the place a few times, but I told him that it's not for sale.

and the rustmobile that I got for free (since it was heading to the dump) with a plow, actually started up for the 2nd time today. I'm not going to register it and I'm only going to use it only for plowing.

Looks like things are coming along good. The blazer doesn't look like its in too bad of shape body wise.

The underside and back side of the blazer are very rusted. I believe it can be fixed up enough for a winter driveway plow truck. I ran it around the driveway once and it's leaking oil and transmission fluid. It looks like the pans on both are real rusty and might have holes in them. I'm pretty sure the oil pan has some holes in it, but I'm not 100% sure about the transmission fluid pan.

Where is the best place to get a oil pan and a transmission pan? I tried Summit but couldn't find anything.
