Bad mileage on the diesel?
it happens when you drive itr like an ass hole lol
good mileage for a truck but not as good as the car and alot more expensive per gallon. theres alot workin against diesels in the winter, they take alot longer to warm up because of the cold which has a big effect on average fuel mileage and fuel is cut with kerosene in the winter which hurts energy content so you use more of it, and diesel fuel is always more expensive in the winter.

yea most of my driving now is like 5 miles to work and back but i feel like i go thru fuel just as fast as i did when i was drivin to RI everyday
i dont doubt it! if i were to reset my fuel mileage and do several short trips for a week i garuntee it wouldnt get above 11-12mpg. next year im doing a winter front if i dont decide to sell it. the fuel mileage with a diesel is absolutely terrible when its not at operating temp. compound that with winter blend fuel and long warm up times = super shitty.

Does it have a block heater?
mine does but have never used it
yes but the added eletricity use far offsets the fuel savings.

Aint that the truth, when we plug some of our trucks in at work you can watch the meter go faster and faster. Luckily we dont get many motorhomes that go out during the winter, mainly just our sanders.
