seat time probably had more to do with it then tire pressure. i mean Yeah 40 is WAYYY too high. but running a street tire bellow 25 in my book is plain stupid.

Hate to be a n00b but, whats the cost to go? Ive looked and cant figure it out. NED isn't super far from me and if the price is right ill be able to make it there a lot easier then either cruise.

u get a wrist band with a color on it and when they put the flag up with your color u go line up...they also announce it on the intercom

ya...also you need a Snell 2000 approved helmet for anything 13.99 or faster. Just in case you show up without one they wont let you run lol but then again, you are driving an automatic LT1 :-P

When they ask you just say the car runs low 14s, or that's what you expect it to run

ya but dont they mark your car? so if hes running faster he needs to get a helmet or get booted? they might not be as strict about that as the cage

They don't mark your car but yes they will warn u then boot you

With 5 year old street tires with someone whos never gone to the track with 2xxs in the back.... I do have a couple mods tho and would I would be happy if my first time out I ran faster then a 14. Any one got a helmet? :P lol

I kinda want to get my car on the road jus to race u heads up sat and show u what a bolt on automatic LT1 can rly do. you act as tho ive never been to the track, and never had an fbody before i took the options of owning cars that, well i owned, instead of paying for. for track racing? id absolutely prefer the A4 over the stick hands down. fact is auto shifts more efficiently than even a seasoned racer with an standard. However some of us, like myself (and clearly not you) like to have fun with our cars and drive them on the street and dont live soley for track runs. A car is ABSOLUTELY no fun if all it ever does is drive straight as fast as it can for 12-13 seconds, or less/more.

I like how your getting all amped up about the fact that youd beat me in a race. I WONT argue you that dude, youve got way more seat time than i do. because I hit up the track 2 maybe 3 times a year. In fact im willing to bet my first couple passes with this car i blow the damn tires off it and run slower than a stock civic. Way to make some friendly ball bustin get serious, hats off!
