The Hankook V12 are highly rated tires and not that expensive. They are also the lightest of all the tires if you are trying to keep the rotational mass to a minimum.

If budget is low, nothing wrong with a set of used high quality tires.

I havent bought new tires since i started driving, you can ge tires at over 50% with just few thousand miles on them. I bought (2) 275/40/17 555Rs with 2k on them for 200 bucks. Lightly used tires are where its at.

yeah I've looked that route too, not much around right now (esp. around here) right now have 2 real options and they are about the same, I haven't really been tire shopping enough over the last year to realize how much we find online isn't even made anymore.

decent tires at surplus rates, or find a new local shop that will hook it up. (think I found one via reference from my last connection)
