I agree with mike, I dont remember anyone from lets say, us, doing burn outs... Fuck them then and if they don't want the publicity of their club then whatever. Its stupid if they cancel it and those burnouts were nothing compared to the ones that used to happen. Thats just ridiculous.

I have seen a lot of guys, older than myself at car shows/meets that used to lay strips like you read about. It's not just the younger crowd but like with everything, they are usually the ones that take the brunt of the abuse for it.

If they want to curb it from happening, step up the people policing the activities and ban them from showing up at the next one. Don't cut out a whole group of cars or an age group of people for it.

Hate to say it but most car show people look down their noses at late model cars. All they need is an excuse.

I'm with "pink" pizza, don't give a bad name to FBodies to a point we become the cast outs at every show. Someone from this site should go talk to them, assure" the powers to be" it was not us and take the high road. No fun in be on the outside looking in. Then if they are still being douches then I'll bring my C6 Vette, screw up their whole parking lot and then they can ban all the old-timers with their shiney new Vettes.

Lets just all show up in every other kind of car we can, and see how many makes and models we can get banned.

I think late model includes all car newer then like 82. Is usually how they do it. At asshole car shows that have a year limit. Stupid people ruine it for all the respectful ones driving the same car. Its not the car its the driver. And they should ban the individual not a group. Maybe ill post this(minus the pink dump and other shit)on there site!

if they start banning newer cars there will go half the show...they can bitch and complain all they want but its no different than any other large car show, burnouts are inevitable and like i said before pay for a damn police detail if u want it to stop. im sure once people start getting tickets they wont pull that anymore. Its not like they own the damn parking lot and i say if they do ban us lets make our own show in another lot haha

If they really wanted to stop all the burnouts, post a few guys from their club at the exit and mark/tag all the plates that are doing the dumbshit and nail them, not the responsible driver(s). So sick and tired of being stereotyped because I drive a late model f-body. How many asshats are out driving daddy's car to the show that isn't a late model that are still pulling that shit. Hell how many older guys leave the lots smoking tires? It's not a matter of late model vs early model, or young vs old.

Only reason I can think of is because these guys want to clear out the newer cars. When I was a lot younger, I had a 1980 Camaro that me and my Dad would take to shows. A lot of the guys with the new Corvettes and Camaro's and cars would show up and put them in the stock class with these things right off the showroom floor. Now that would burn a lot of the guys asses, mine included, for the plain fact that they have done NOTHING or vested no time or hard work into these cars like 95% of the other guys showing their cars. Now the way they could've avoided it was making a class that was for late model cars, but when you've got everything from classic Dodge, Ford, Chevrolet, AMC, Edsel, Packard, etc it can get a bit costly adding more trophies for those and more sub-classes. That's the only real reason I can possibly think of these guys doing that.

But anyways, back to topic, I say we go and present ourselves in good standing. Let's not give them any more ammunition to fire back at us. I am really looking to going on the 17th, regardless if it's at Bass Pro, or at Showcase, or even at McDonald's across from Foxboro Terminals, which happens to have a large parking area as well (hint hint), and has been a very good site for tailgating. Foxboro Terminals not McDonalds lol.

huge turnout today..perfect day for it

I really wish I coulda made it to this one. The weather saw a bunch of nice cars rolling down from the northshore when i was on 128 on the way home.

Was in p6 and had to leave. Was there at 4:30ish and was a ton of cars there. Hated leaving so early seeing the turnout.

didnt get a chance to go this time. maybe next one my car will be Drive-able.

I finally made it down from the Northshore for the first time on the 31st. I was shocked at how big that thign was. I was leaving Bass Pro, to go home at about 6:45 and there were still cars coming in

There are cars still coming sometimes around 8 pm!
