Absolutely!! This goes on rain or shine and it's a great time no matter what.

Way to much goes into this event to cancel just because of some rain.

Almost a year ahead of time routes are planned out, hotels are booked, shop tours set-up, and discounted attractions arranged. People from 2 countries and over a half-dozen states attend this, so it isn't just a quick little cruise that can be re-scheduled at a later date.

Even with the possibility of some of the route washed out because of Hurricane Irene, it still goes on. We just alter the route a bit

there would have been some participation in the event IF you participated in some of the other rooms besides just pushing the rod run event.
If people dont get to know ya they wont attend.
Im just sayin is all.

Basically whenever I come on here, I just spend most of my time lurking in the "events" section and don't post much (just look at my history). I lurk around in other sections too, but mainly I just look for events local to me.

If people want to come on the run that's fine by me and if they don't want to, that's ok too, I'm not going to get offended if people don't want to try it out.

I'm just trying to let people know about something that they normally wouldn't know about. Most people have never been on a multi-day cruise, or even know where to find out about one, so that's all I'm trying to let them know about. Whereas NERR doesn't limit itself to just one single state or area (we have already been through 6 different states and will build on that next year), that is what makes it different from most everything else out there.

I just give quick updates on here and other forums, while saving the big updates for NERR's own site. Many of the forums that we post on, draw attendees from them.

Probably 75% of the people that go on NERR had never met me, or anyone else on the trip, before they actually attended one, but everyone has always had a good time. That's part of the draw for some people. Meeting up with new people and seeing great sites while cruising some beautiful roads and byways. I actually thought you might have been joining us, with your early interest. We actually had our first two participants join us from CT this year (one in a first gen Mustang and another in a Chevy 300 post car). You missed out on a great trip.

yeah both cars are broke.
