The point to this build was 0 loss in efficiency. The first kit I had kept the ac, but I had the previously mentioned problems. So ac had to go. You may regret that after the first summer here without it.... In CA humidity is not really a huge issue, while here it's typically 90%+ in the summer.... So a temp of 85 feels like 95+, and you'll realize A/C is really helpful.
