good time today guys. little disappointed the best i could pull out was a 13.1...really need to work on my launch, the 60 foot time was around 2.3-2.4 and my trap was 112-113. finally started to get the hang of it right before i called it quits....really need more seat time in that car

^^^ Get a built rear and a slick on that biatch and watch your ET go down by a second. I was in the same boat for along time man. Dont get discouraged. The first time you launch at 5500 and not care about it and cut a 1.6 or better you will finally realize it was worth the coin.

Justin i wasnt spinning at all...the 555Rs seemed to be hooking nice for me last launch i tried was at 3000 everyone said try 4 grand but after how hard i hooked at 3 grand i was nervous about 4.

what was happening was the car was hooking and bogging down, i never took my foot off the gas..not sure what else to do. gonna try slipping the clutch and see what happens. or say fuck it and dump it at 4 grand...used rear ends are cheap enough

Thats the problem I used to have too, was hooking and bogging. Its cause your not launching hard enough. Thats why I said a built rear and a slick do wonders. 6k and it will hook hard and not bog. Plus removing the front sway bar does wonders too.

i got away with a couple 4500 dumps with my 10 bolt lol. 1st gear sucks in these trannys.

Ive launched of the limiter a few times. If the track is there it cuts low 1.5s. Def a rush in a six speed car.
