The idea is to do a cruise that goes around the Quabbin Reservoir via some nice scenic back roads. We would start by meeting at Big Y supermarket in Palmer, MA, right off Exit 8 on the Mass Pike, ideally at noon. From there we would take RT 32 north to the town of Ware and pick up RT 32A and follow that up the east side of the Quabbin to Petersham. Then pick up RT 122 to Orange, then a little ways up RT 202 north to hit up some go karts. Then RT 202 south down the west side of the Quabbin to Belchertown, where we pick up RT 9 east heading back towards Ware. About half way back to Ware we will stop to head up to a lookout tower with a great view of the Reservoir. There is also a nice big parking lot where we could take some pictures. Total length of the cruise is ~77 miles round trip.

Jeez, couldn't wait ten more minutes for me to make a thread?

Im in, gonna have to leave early tho cause i have work at 5 and takes an hour to get back.

But if anybody is going to be more than 5 minutes late, could we have them meet up at the 1/2 way point (the go-karts)?

I'm planning on leaving here plenty early, prob 10ish, so I'm there on time.

Ill either be going 495 south, or 290 to the pike. So I can meet up around there?

what is the rest stop/food shit hole on the pike? we meet there?

mass pike rest stop right after 495? i believe its the westboro rest area with the macdonalds and gas station. what time we want to meet there?
