Perfect Zombie Apocalypse Vehicle
 

I am selling my zombie apocalypse vehicle as the zombies are taking too long to get here. I will build another one before they attack. It is a 1992 Blazer, not the wimpy s10 blazer with a v6 but a full size two door blazer with a 350. It is an 18 year old truck so it does have some problems and isn't the prettiest thing but when you are running over zombies that are trying to eat your brains who cares! I just replaced the front shocks, rears need to be replaced but I do have new ones inside the truck. It also needs front pads which I also have and if I find some motivation somewhere I might get them done, if not you get the truck a little cheaper and get to spend some quality time with it and your tools. The blazer is lifted two inches and has 35 inch tires on it and if somebody offers me enough it will also come with a set of 33's(35's have dry rot but do hold air) I have the truck on craigslist but will accept less from the forums I'm on. I would like to get $1300 for it. It needs a windshield, fiance's head is much harder than I thought!

It's my fourth one! I get one play with it for a little while and usually something else needs more attention so I end up selling them. If this one doesn't sell soon it may be the one I end up keeping, have my eye on a 5.3 for it if it stays with me.

is it 4wd?

Yes it is four wheel drive and it does work.

Nope, I did pull a 3/4 ton truck out of the mud though!

yeah i was just thinking over all weight for stability. i know it will have the power. maybe not the tranny YET. i had a sjort bed reg cab 1500 350/700r4 and it Just didnt weight enough to be stable at highway speeds. youd get that dip/sway.

This is the same size as your truck length wise. Might weigh a little more but probably not too much. Personally I would only tow short distances with it, I don't think it would make a good vehicle to tow at highway speeds.

its going to come down to the trailer rather then the truck....it will be a complete dog trying to go up hills but it will do it...we towed my car behind my buddys 2 door that you have seen went just fine...except for the long up hills lol

yeah u need a 3/4 ton with a big block. dont be cheap. i think i no where there 1 lol

I know its old, and seen some abuse, but how the engine and tranny feel? Can you feel or hear anything that makes you think somethings wrong?

^^^ Ummm its a 350 and a 700r4..... They ALWAYS sound like crap but runn forever!!!! hahaha

Pizza is right, this thing will run forever. Slight noise on very cold mornings, sounds like piston slap but goes away after 8 seconds. Tranny shifts amazing, biggest problem the truck has is the windshield. My fiances head really did bounce off it, she will never forget to put her seatbelt on again while offroading. Yes this truck has been offroading and no I didn't "beat" on it that badly. Big sand pit and a couple of big puddles. With bad shocks we hit a rut and she bounced right out of her seat. Was kind of funny except for the head vs windshield part.

I am a completely honest seller, if you need any references please ask bottledbird. I sold him the fourth gen.

Do want.....trust me, just contemplating whether its a wise financial decision at this time in my life hahaha. My parents do have a jeep I can use, but my Z might have to see some snow now and then and I dont wanna do that.

Well if you want to come take it for a ride just let me know. I have a couple people coming to look at it this weekend. Unfortunately weekends are the best time for me to show it as I don't get out of work until 5 and it's dark.

I live in Warwick, RI. It has 235,xxx on the body but drivetrain was rebuilt by last owner and has between 70,000 and 80,000 on it.

Installed the rear shocks today, now has new shocks all around. Truck rides real nice now.

Ok last bump then i'm keeping it. At this point I would rather have cash than trade. I did the shocks, still needs front pads and windshield. I have been driving it everyday since I got rid of the gto. Front pads come with the truck, also comes with another set of tires for $1300 obo. They are smaller than the 35's but are almost new.
