What race car would you build if money wasnt a thing.

Pure hell is my fav one of them all followed by wing express and rat trap..One day i will build a replica almost of pure hell and just paint it diff and call it Satans sons with a iron headed tall deck 427 bbc,8-71 blower on alky an some nitro to put a lil pep in its step. http://www.slixx.com/images/1278p.gif http://www.realrodderswheels.biz/PURE%20HELL%201.jpg http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:3...llAAFA.jpg&t=1 http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4017/...93a3fb03_z.jpg heres how it looks now..updated so it can still make passes http://www.memphisrodders.com/files/..._entry92_1.jpg some cool pics of it sitting next to a reg bantam http://www.americanbantam.com/pure_h...n_roadster.htm An some vid of her on some nitro at cackle fest http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VG3rxf7XQL0 |

If we can buy it and not have to make it, I am getting the 68 Smokey Yunick Camaro.

I'm getting ready to start mine in the next couple weeks.
68 firebird with a full zo6 chassis, turbo'd ls motor, 6 speed, and steamroller tires. Power and handling I can get in and drive anywhere :) |
66-67 Nova, like Butch Kemps old car.

dude there is no reason you Can't do that, even on a budget. In fact I know where you can get an S10 set-up for a V8 (rolling chassis, no engine) on the cheap. |

Scott,
Cool car. Do you have any other info? I saw a Sunoco/Penske 67 on Wikipedia but not the car you posted. Link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:19....jpg#filelinks http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...Camaro_Z28.jpg David |
I keep looking at the pics of the 67 and the 69.
The 69 has a posh spice back-side: http://i17.tinypic.com/6as0783.jpg The 67 has a J-Lo back-side: http://hard10mag.com/wp-content/gall...-lopez-ass.jpg |

Actually the pics are of a car that was for sale on another board (pro-touring.com) for 75,000. it is a tribute to a 69 Penske that Mark Donahue won the SCCA in 69. the real car is:
