Winter projects on the way
Well first the bad news, in a strange turn of events our lift fell apart in one of the legs due to a bad weld on an integral piece of the lifting system. Thankfully there wasn't a car on it at the time, just a junk rear axle for a 55 chevy that is going to get rebuilt as a spare for the hot rod. But anyway kinda puts me in a bind for working space for now.
Onto the good news, gear for the winter is on the way! Here is the to-do list New clutch, flywheel, slave - I just don't like having an unknown clutch in there UMI K-member Poly motor mounts Tubular front upper control arms Tubular front lower control arms Tires for the new wheels That should keep me busy for a weekend, lol! |
Sounds like lots of fun! Good luck.

I hear ya, Spohn makes some good stuff but they are pricey. UMI makes some good stuff though. I have their LCA's.
|
i found spohn to be less expensive than most others, where are you looking?
|
I Also Just bought UMI's LCA's and PHB single adjustable with QA1 rod ends. we shall see how they work out But for the price and quality why not better then paying for a name Like BMR.
|
woohoo man!!! Have fun!!
|
While everyone is talking UMI and Spohn a great site to order from for either brand is LMPerformance.com great prices and free shipping on most pieces.
The free shipping saves a ton of cash. |
