No worse then cold sandy back roads could be.

CamaroRacing12 03-28-2011 03:58 AM

brand new concrete! lots of spin but at least it will be smooth all the way down the 1320!

c4boom 03-28-2011 04:02 AM

ya not have that friken bump at 1000ft mark

CamaroRacing12 03-28-2011 04:21 AM

hahahah yup

c4boom 03-28-2011 04:38 AM

ya its right at my 3-4 shift and some times would cause it to brake loos

midnight 03-28-2011 03:55 PM

thank god for that. The grooves alone were enough to make me shit my pants, and i wasnt even fast enough to really be concerned lol

def steering clear until they get it all prepped, FWD and boosted on dry rotted all seasons = spin city no matter what

My84Z 03-28-2011 04:39 PM

man bumps grooves wah wah lol I never had any of those problems just slippery sometimes.

ls6monte 03-28-2011 04:47 PM

Lol, go figure right?

CamaroRacing12 03-28-2011 06:34 PM

its expected. still a lot of water that needs to be drained etc. plus its suppose to rain. the season never starts on time.

ILuvPizzaTimes10 03-28-2011 06:42 PM

Nope im not worried!

they will open it up and Hopefully no one gets killed wich im sure they are concerned with.

ls6monte 03-28-2011 10:55 PM

Actually according to the Fb post the temp is suppose to be around 20* there which is too cold for traction.

pshh im not a big fan of randomly having my car steer towards a wall and scaring the shit outa me....now take a guy that sub 11 seconds, thats gotta be even worse.

ive heard others complain about it so i cant be crazy

My84Z 03-29-2011 08:18 PM

Not saying they aren't there but at my speeds I've never noticed them as a problem or enough to make me aware.

c4boom 03-29-2011 08:33 PM

john you run slicks on your car?

My84Z 03-29-2011 08:35 PM

My car usual hoosiers or et streets but i have ran nitto's and on the red car nitto's

c4boom 03-29-2011 08:59 PM

ya man try it with strait up street tires on in sub 60 degree weather have to fight mine all the way through third gear to keep it in the groove some times

My84Z 03-29-2011 09:01 PM

aren't you suppose to stay in the groove though? Also the track isn't designed for street tires. However I have been on street tires also on the red car when we first got it. I dunno maybe I just don't notice it.

Slowhawk 03-29-2011 11:47 PM

What the gay? Did someone just say - fight for the groove" with a high 12 second car?

My84Z 03-29-2011 11:48 PM

Rflmao lol

Formula413 03-30-2011 12:07 AM

My car runs high 13s and I almost went into the wall once with street tires

ILuvPizzaTimes10 03-30-2011 12:28 AM

iv never had these issues

You have issues alright.

c4boom 03-30-2011 04:04 AM

ya I know it sounds dumb but yes the car does slide around on the track dont matter if it is only a 12 second car it still moves around and can be a handful at times if there is poor track prep its cold or any moisture on the track. shit I have seen ron have the montie come out on him a few times with drag radials. any one that says they have never had a issue is ether full of it or has not dealt with some of the poorer conditions.

CamaroRacing12 03-30-2011 05:50 AM

Ive never had an issue ever down track. Some spin once maybe twice out of the hole but it was because of a inproper burnout. And ive been their on some cold late damp nights in the finals of some koth's on fri nights.

Ive never had to fight my car ever. And most of the time im bracket racing and staring into my mirror or looking over my shoulder from 1000ft on.

c4boom 03-30-2011 02:20 PM

with me its always on the hit from the shift tony maybe the auto helps keep you planted

midnight 03-30-2011 04:31 PM

the times ive felt it have been in spots..not constantly down the track, sort of just feels like the ass end is swaying around in spots. a few times i was forced to correct though otherwise they would have been rolling out the ATV lol

True. My tranny shifts decently hard tho

*LS1* Queen 03-30-2011 08:11 PM

i never had an issue besides spinning when i launched it on street tires

My84Z 03-30-2011 10:20 PM

I think boomer is trying to shift the steering wheel on the 3 to 4 lol

CamaroRacing12 03-31-2011 12:04 AM

hahahahah yea i think he might jus get a lil excited on that shift lol

midnight 04-26-2011 08:27 PM
