WTB Camaro Shell
 

Looking for a 100% clean camaro shell, has to have no rust, and have a near perfect paint job. (would prefer a white one, green one or teal, but wont be picky about color if its clean)

Ill say I'm not looking to spend more then 1500 bucks, but would prefer to be way under that.

I dont care if there is no tranny or no engine, if its a v6, it has no interior, no drive train, ect. My current camaro will be donating all its parts to the new one.

On top of that, anyone with a trailor wanna earn a few bucks if i find one that i do want?

No dice on the t-tops. Unless Im wrong t-tops are considered convertible cars and you need a roll cage if you run faster then a 13.5, which I dont think will be hard to do with a few mods.

I think your wrong lol. It's 11.49 for a roll cage for hard top and t-top... convertible is 13.5

I thought i read somewhere they changed the rulings for t-tops and lumped them into verts. I might be wrong, trying to find out now.

:edit: T-tops count as a coupe under NHRA rules when the tops are in place. Take them out, and now you must follow convertible rules. from 2009 but thats what I read, haha

Yeah i read the same thing. I run under 13.5 with t-tops and NED has never said anything so i dont think the rule has changed

Guy said he still has it and the left looks as good as the right. I think I'm gonna go look at it this week/weekend, Who wants to come with me to make sure someone dosn't try and shank me, and also help me once over the car haha.

Also, Joe or Pizza or anyone else with a truck, would either of you be interested in towing the car? I would either have to rent a uhaul or find someone with a car trailer. Let me know what you would wanna charge me, feel free to PM.

its not everything your looking for though..its black but would need paint an theres 2 small rust holes in the floor..ones like a 1/4 and another is about the size of a base ball but they are easy fixs..car was going to be my drag car before i bought my stang.

Called the guy today, seems like a really nice guy. He works at F&M towing in westminster.

I'm gonna be heading down there around 1 or 2 to take a look at it tomorrow before i deiced if i want it. If it checks out alright then ill make plans to buy. If worse comes to worse, he can tow it and said we can work something out.

Went and looked at the car, outside was alright, underneath was no good. talked him down to 350 and 50 bucks to drop it off in the morning. Bought it for parts, has full interior, white rims that i think will replace my stockers, crank windows, k member and rear end(gotta check and see what gears are in it, It was a v6 car, any one know what gears might be in it and or it it would be better then my current rear?

Cars green so gonna take the front fenders hood and front clip and put it on my can call it a day. Car will match a whole lot better. Hoods has hood pins, so i guess im gonna have a pin on hood haha

After that gonna part out all the plastic and anything else thats useful then junk the frame. Over all i would say a good deal, I'm hoping on all the plastic and interior and after scraping it that i can get close to breaking even.

Gonna be putting stuff up on craigs list and the fourms. if you are looking for something let me know.

Guy seems like a real stand up act, his names john and runs F&M towing. If you ever need a tow and are in the westminster area give him a call. Dont think you would be upset with it.

It looks just like my car! lol its a 95 green camaro. Any way to check from the VIN #? I would guess the doors and rear are original, there is no drive line tho, so i could just pop the ass up and give it a quick spin and count it lol

But yes, ill post up pics of it in the morning and then mine with the hood and everything else switched over when i get to it. Few small scratches on the doors but, are in better shape then mine, and they are crank windows, so thats gonna shed some weight. I bet with me in it i can get close to 3200lbs race weight. with just me in it last time i checked i was like 3350~. so delete the heater core and dash and some other odds and ends and i bet i will be close.
