three years ago a guy put a down payment on a dirt bike that I had (sold it for 120 he put down 40) with the understanding that he was going to pay the rest with in 2 months. I called the guy about 6-7 times over the next 2 years to tell him he needs to come get the fucking thing. he never comes and gets it. so last month I traded it to my cuz for a cored of wood. now about 10 minutes ago the guy calls me up wondering if he can come get the bike. I told him that i traded it for the wood and he said I need to give him his money back. I told him he isnt getting his money back because he tied the dam thing up on me for 3 years and then he blew up on me. SO should I give his money back or tell him to go pound shit.

is anything is writing?? tell him to get lost, that the had 2 months to come up with the money and all of a sudden he waits until years later.

either way if its in writing or not..if it was then he broke the contract by not paying with in the agreed time..if its not in writing then fuck him cant expect to wait three years to buy something

i had that happen with a snowmobile, guy gave me 500 bucks for it, never came to pick it up, i resold it for 500 a while later

Charge him $4500.00 for storage for the last 3 years, then give him his $40.00

well he told me that he his coming over to get his money I told him he isnt getting it if he starts shit im going to tell him the deal about storage im thinking 10 bucks a month for the last 36 months. that sounds more than fair. I can get the bike back if i want to pay for the work the guy put into it its like 600 bucks in work and ill tell him that too.

well he showed up I told em that he had 2 options he can have his 40 bucks and i was going to charge him 1 dollar a month for holding the dam thing his slip that i gave him said 9/26/05 on it so he would have owed me 8 bucks or he could call it quits. he got all pissie called me a ass hole and left.
