I'm gonna kick you in the nuts!!!

KLAB 04-30-2013 03:40 PM

why you selling it

Bayer-Z28 04-30-2013 04:00 PM

I can't afford to keep up w it anymore. And it was garaged for its whole life and now its jut sitting outside and it kills me to see it like this. It's depressing and even on the nice days I just don't have the motivation to drive it anymore. I just think it's time to move on. I just want to start over w something else. (Newer) gonna do something different for a while.

I'm just at a crossroads w it too. I just don't want to dump anymore money into it.

ls6monte 05-01-2013 12:03 AM

That sucks Rich!

Bayer-Z28 05-01-2013 01:36 AM

I just don't know what to frickin do anymore.

camarokid91 05-01-2013 02:12 AM

Autocross it. It made me like my car again.

Bayer-Z28 05-01-2013 11:00 AM

I'm trying to work it up the chain on base to get an OK for AX on one of the Parkin aprons on the airfield. The cops come out here an do it all the time for training.

DemonWithin99 05-01-2013 04:01 PM

don't quit... just make the more fun choice and grab the keys to the Z on the way out the door... DRIVE THAT BITCH!!!!

the more you do the less likely you'd give up on her.

Bayer-Z28 05-03-2013 05:01 PM

Yeah. Sorry but the car has to be sold. I have two lingering bills that really need to get paid off so I can live a little more comfortably on short months. It's too tight right now.

senicalj4579 05-03-2013 05:14 PM

That sucks. Wasnt to long ago you were droppin mad money into it and dealing with the j&m nightmare. Hopefully you got what you wanted for it man.
I'm on the fence about selling mine also with the 3rd kid born. Had it up for a "feeler" but then decided it wasnt time for it to go yet.

Bayer-Z28 05-04-2013 11:43 AM

Yeah. I've had some good times with the car, I mean it won't be my last and I'd like a Vette some day, but I can't swing two cars right now. I've had this for 10 years, so we've had our history and some great memories, but it's time to move on.

Bayer-Z28 05-17-2013 02:02 AM

Sale pending.. Pretty much sold. Guy from maine is coming down tmrw to pick it up. :(

Z28 05-17-2013 02:44 AM

Sucks to see it go but I think in the end you'll be happier. Good luck tomorrow

frankzlt1 05-17-2013 09:49 AM

Good luck with the sale.

Bayer-Z28 05-17-2013 10:10 PM

Sold..

That hurt.. They were really happy with how clean it was tho. I'm an honest person and I'm not going to lie. Especially if someone is willing to drive all the way down here to buy it, even tho they never drove it.

I crossed a line w the car. I never should have modded it to the extent that I did. That intake/fuel system was the tipping point. Gonna pay off two lingering bills and sit a bit easier monthly now.

Bayer....You deserve some time off. As much as you need because you really went through the wringer with this car. At some point, I hope to see you back here with another F-body!

Bayer-Z28 05-18-2013 02:09 AM

I'd like a vette eventually.. And yeah.. Maybe it's a relief. I'm not sure yet. I just painted myself into a wicked corner with it. only other choice would be to demod it almost completely, other than the suspension. -Registration and what I'm looking for.

I'm hesitant to mod another car... But I'm gonna pay off a couple bills and get my life more in line. I'm thinking of tying up some of the camaro money into a CD. I almost don't even want to spend it. As soon as that money is gone, the car is completely gone. I'd like to look into a condo too. I'd really like to do some house modding again. :) That would be right up my alley.

I had a lot of firsts in that car. a lot of memories.

LSX-Nation 05-18-2013 12:09 PM

Sounds like you had your fun with it but life's more important than a car. Looks like you did the right thing!

I'm sure you will get another car in the future.

KLAB 05-19-2013 02:00 AM

Dude you went so hard you had to sell it haha. Sucks to hear man, but you'll always be able to get another. I think you should post a commemorative thread for it, post up some pics of the changes it made and stuff.
