NEFBA cards

There’s been a few discussions on doing this for a while and KB93Z28 has come up with a layout for cards that we can hand out at shows.

Maybe we could give a brief description of who we are and what this site is all about on the backside?
Can anyone give some suggestions on what to put on the back?

Grovlet 07-21-2014 11:14 PM

"New England's Premier F-Body Association and Forum":
Dedicated to Camaro's & FireBirds - But home of car enthusiast as well!!

And of course a picture of the 69 to demonstrate the caliber of cars that are driving part of the fun!!

That's pretty good!

I think just the text part would be good since there's not much room on there.

If there was room, it would be nice to have a group shot of everybody's car.

Formula413 07-22-2014 02:39 AM

That card actually looks pretty good as is, maybe it doesn't even need anything on the back? Is it too complicated to make a picture the backdrop of the front of the card?

ZFreie 07-22-2014 11:36 AM

I'd need the nefba logo but I could make something in gimp when I get home if KB wants. with Dave's car as backdrop, or one of all of us?

DavidS 07-22-2014 12:57 PM

ILuvPizzaTimes10 07-22-2014 11:24 PM

looks good. i think simple is best. once you have to much going on in that small of a size the message gets lost. id say not white back ground a color like blue or something and just logo and text. no pic. detracts from what your trying to say. i still have a box of the old ones if anyone wants to pick them up?

DavidS 07-22-2014 11:59 PM

You're probably right Mike (and Formula). Keep it simple.

Do you have a pic of the old ones?

KB93z28 07-23-2014 01:00 AM

Feel free to play around with it zfreie!

I could try out a few different color combos like pizza suggested and see what we like best. I also agree simple is better.

Cool. The old ones looked pretty good too.

Kalstar 07-23-2014 12:13 PM

Agreed, simple is better. Have you looked at vista print. Very reasonable $$ on custom cards.

KLAB 07-23-2014 07:39 PM

Put the Logo on the back!

LSX-Nation 07-26-2014 08:22 PM

This is a good idea I'll be happy to hand them out.

KB93z28 07-29-2014 01:26 AM

Alright, sorry it took so long just to get a few of these done. I'll probably make different ones as other color combos come to me but this is what I have for now. Obviously the top one is just a black background, and idk watsup with the white lines to the right of some of them. Thought it was just a border issue but I cant seem to get rid of it.... Anyways let me know what you guys think!

Formula413 07-29-2014 01:33 AM

Very nice! 4 and 6 are my favorites.

DavidS 07-29-2014 01:56 AM

Great!!!

I like number 1 and number 6. Number 1 stands out the nicest and number 6 could be perfect if the red letters stood out better.

Number 4 looks pretty good too.

KB93z28 07-29-2014 02:37 AM

Yea I personally like 4 and 6 as well. Dave, I'll mess around with the text colors on #6. See if I can get something to pop!

ZFreie 07-29-2014 08:22 PM

I like #1 and # 4 my self. #6 is alright just dont like the red lettering over the sliver, perhaps white?

Seems like #4 is taking the votes at the moment.

whitdog54 07-29-2014 10:49 PM

4 and 6 are very nice, agreed the site letting is a little tough to see on some. I had given a few of these out a while back when Alex gave me some. Think I still have a few in my ash tray!

KB93z28 08-14-2014 02:10 AM

I messed around with the text coloring on #6 since everyone seemed to like it. Let me know what you guys think!

ZFreie 08-14-2014 02:27 AM

#2 with white lettering, two votes somehow.

Formula413 08-14-2014 02:43 AM

I agree, the second one looks good

Agreed.

Probably a goofy question, but.....Do most people with a Camaro or Firebird know what a f-body is?

If not, should we include something like...."Home of Camaros & Firebirds"?

If you guys think most people know, then the second one with no changes.

ZFreie 08-14-2014 02:51 PM

That's a good point not everyone will know

KB93z28 08-14-2014 10:31 PM

Hey if they don't know their car is an f-body, theyre probably not enthusiasts anyways! lol

You're probably right. The card would look cleaner also.

Due to the work put in by KB93z28, I think we'll have new cards soon but he's working on some of the details.

KB93z28 08-31-2014 04:59 AM

Alright guys, everything looks good to me! Check it over good because this is what Ill be giving to Dave!

Formula413 08-31-2014 06:45 AM

Looks awesome!

ZFreie 08-31-2014 02:09 PM

That does look killer! Nice work!

LSX-Nation 08-31-2014 04:59 PM

I like it.

frankzlt1 08-31-2014 06:40 PM

Looks good

DavidS 09-01-2014 01:47 AM

It might be the angle the card is on, but it kinda looks like NFF-BA.COM

If it doesn't look like that when you are looking at it in person....It's ready to go!

ILuvPizzaTimes10 09-01-2014 01:59 AM

i say bold the lettering. or black might go off the silver better with the fade at the bottom.
