Club Change
I was thinking the other day if it would be better to open up the club to all GM makes. We all love F body's here but potentially widening out our group to all GM makes would bring in a lot of new people. The website would have more traffic and when we have meets there would be a lot more people involved. I think it would be good for the club to do this. It would be a big change but i think it would be a great idea. Anyone else have an opinion on this? I already talked to Dave and we would like the club members thoughts. Thanks

I feel like we allow for anyone who's a car enthusiast to join us. I know we have had non gm cars cruise with us before. We're just fbody focused. If we wanna widen that I don't see the harm.
Ron has the weirdest fbody I've ever seen lol |
When did we not allow others? For instance Ron
|
This is an Fbody based site. I'm talking about changing that to a GM based site. I never said anything about not allowing other cars cruise with us..
|
So change the name and all?
|
I was thinking that if most everyone is good with it, we can have some small changes.
title: North East F-Body and GM Association or something similar. banner: update add to the garage section of forum: "60's GM, 70's GM, 80's GM, etc..." |
I'm for it.

there goes the neighborhood.......

Defeats the original purpose but whatever it's dead around here

I like it. I say go for it.

keeping the F-body alive is a shrinking group, in order to keep the forum alive I say go for it.
|
Im all for it.
we seen in the past F body clubs fold due to lack of participation etc. IE. CTFBA. Bringing in more members will make for alot more trafffic etc. We could divide the forum up a bit to accomodate all models of GMs. |
I personally like having it an F Body focused club but it's not a big deal to me either way. And I strongly encourage anyone who thinks there isn't enough traffic to get on and post, that's what traffic is after all!

I say open it up. It's nice to have an f-body exclusive club, but there just aren't that many of us.

I joined because it was F-body specific. F-body cars started in 67 and continue through today. That's a lot of F-bodies, where is everyone? Maybe we should figure out how to reach out to more. I certainly don't have a problem with more sections for more enthusiasts but there still needs to be a main focus F-bodies.
