Anyone have Geico?
 

I just got a quote and the savings are substantial compared to what I'm paying now, just wondering if anyone has them and has any insight on how they are to deal with.

They are a PITA to deal with. If you'r in a wreck their adjusters suck at life and will lowball the price to fix your ride. They rape civilian vehicle policies on many levels like that to afford a little profit margin after fixing all of the broken gov't vehicles they are responsible for.

i LOVE progressive. havent dealt with gieco personally but i havent heard anything good about it from the few i know who have needed a payment.

Dude they SUUUUCK to deal with!!!! Awful. I LOVE my Nationwide policy on the car and Progressive on the bike. Geico saves you money but as the saying goes..."You get what you pay for".

i have progressive and its pretty damn cheap. havent tried geico but i would say progressive is similar in cost, call for a quote from them too alex and compare,i'd be curious to see how close they r in cost

the price you pay per month will vary from company to company, but when and if you ever need them for the purpose you pay them for they give you one hell of a run around.

I'll be shopping around for a new company very soon if things do not change with the way my accident is going. I've heard from them 2 times within the last month, and they have not payed my towing bill nor has the guy who hit me's insurance.

the price you pay to them to protect you when you need the services they offer is low, but ^^^^ so far you get what you pay for.

i have progressive and they are amazing, i pay $72 a month for FULL COVERAGE! and my driving record sucks ass hard, i had progressive when i got into my accident and they helped me get more money from the other ladies insurance company, and thats how i bought my new babygirl, i just got my windshield replaced a couple weeks ago and that was no sweat either, they even made the appointment for the guy to come out and do it. However i do have a $1000 deductable and $100 deductable on glass so that helps me save

Just talked to Progressive, they would be about $250 a year more than Geico, about $240 cheaper than my current carrier.

see im an idiot, i just put on minimum coverage and find the cheapest carrier hahaha maybe i should look into geico next year

well my insurance would pay for the other driver's car, but not my car. so yea i'd be pretty fucked

I wouldn't worry so much about collision as what your liability limits are, personal injury, property damage etc.


It looks like I'll actually end up going with Progressive after all. If you pay in full for six months they're actually cheaper than Geico. I'm looking at both cars and the bike being about $95 a month on average if I pay in full, and that is with $300 collision and comp deductibles. That's about $50/month less than my current policy. :Dance2:

Wow, we pay $160 a month for full coverage on the jeep and her Subaru, plus basic on the z (until I paint it, then I'll get it appraised and put full on it). That's through Plymouth rock/pilgrim. Dealt with them numerous times when I had my shop and they were always awesome.
Course we're also both the best step driver you can be and live in west bumfuck lol.
