Anyone feel like hitting the track that night?

I just heard from a buddy of mine who got a C5 this summer, he wants to plan a track night that night. So far it's prob 3 of us, him with the Vette, me, and our other friend with a '00 Firehawk.

Anyone else going to be aorund that night?

I'm looking forward to hitting the track at night actually, only times I've ran my car has been in the daytime and it's been hot as hell. I'm thinking I'll set a new best.

Don't get your hopes up for a new best. Just cause its cooler out doesn't mean the DA has dropped. I might be interested. Miss the track just pissed my car won't be there.

I don't know man, my car always feels faster when it's cooler out. I just got home, and it felt pretty good tonight actually.

Anyway, I won't cry if I don't set a new best, it'll just be fun to hit the track again. I'm going to do a few small things to the car before then, so we'll see.

wednesdays are better they have the track prepped from rentals AND less ppl...

Yeah, I hear you. Back when I had my '98 I used to like to go on Wed nights.

It just doesn't work for the other guys. It's a 2 hour + ride up there for us, so it's tough to plan.

i like fridays

They only prep one lane for most rentals.

id go if it was a test and tune day

I like street nights better then test and tune days. You get more runs and i think its a better atmosphere.
