had fun replacing a head gasket on a 4.6L ford. at least it was easy enough to get at.

why you would use a ford motor on a generator is beyond me.......

i wonder the same thing, its whats the best deal at the time. the brand generator is generac, they were use gm on most of the generators. they use a lot of Mitsubishi 4 bangers. some or the bigger units they use the ford v10 junk. or diesel which is john deer or fiat another junk.

That's about the only good use for one of those sled engines!

thats about right. i maintain a couple big block chevys and they are 15 years old and run like a champ. they never had a prob with the engine just electronic issues.
