I stopped by a local place today, with my printout of my tiresonline.com quote firmly in hand.

Got a set of 275/40/17 Nitto 555's for $600 out the door. I'm happy with that.

Now I just gotta go burn off my old Michelins!

Yup, mounted, balanced, new stems, and tax. Crow City Motoring in New Bedford. They do mostly street and tuner stuff, but I figured they'd do a good job of mounting and balancing (and not scratching up my wheels), they do alot of high end wheels there.

I figured it was time I finally replaced them. Especially since you guys were telling me this time LAST YEAR that I needed new tires, lol.

The dryrot got way worse over the winter, I can see the carcass through the sidewall cracks in a few places.

No way I'd pass tech next weekend.
