Default My first racing project

started building the motor from scratch in 2000. pulled out the 2.8L V6 and installed the 377ci around 01/2002. built up the R4 a little bit. was still running a one legger with 2.73 gears. moved from SoCal to upstate NY in summer of 2002, no local tracks were here at the time, didnt really do much with it. 2006 we had a flood here and garage took 3 ft of river water while i was at work. i changed all fluids and yada yada. trans wasnt working right. i pretty much closed the garage and avoided doing anything with it until about a month ago, 04/2010. ive got the itch back to get this thing finished and do some bracket racing. would like to get it street legal again too if i can. closest track now is 45 miles. i used to live within 5 miles of Irwindale and 10 miles of Pomona. [sigh].
