Ok, first of all I am blaming a stock 78mm P+P'd LS1 tb to be choking back some power. I never really looked into a bigger TB as I though you couldn't go much bigger on an LS6 intake. I'm not gonna ask this on LS1Tech because this is a smaller forum and the thread won't get lost in an hour. Or if anyone else wants to but in. IT'S NOT THE CAM AND I'M NOT GETTING A BIGGER ONE. I'm gonna max this one out with top of the line parts first before I get a different cam.
Don: What do you think is choking back the power, besides the tune and the altitude it was tuned at. -> 414/372 at Texas Speed at 3800ft on a dynojet. 403/381 on yours, running rich at Dyno Day. TSP also did not use a WBo2 in the Y, just probed the tip.
LS6 intake w 78mm (Gettin an 85 and will make it work)
LS6 CNC P+P'd heads (can't easily find a fast 92)
PRC dual gold valve springs
Cam at 224/228 .637.639 110 +0 (dot to dot.. designer put down 459/410 with it, so it has potential, but my heads are killing 15-20 I know that)
Cometic HG's
SLP Tuned length LT's (not seeing as an issue anymore)
Somewhat damaged 3" Y-pipe
That should be all you really need to know, unless I missed something.
Dyno sheet from TSP. PatG said it needed a little more fuel down low and said the smoothing was wrong.. ????
