I've worked on some that were damaged like that.When the frame is pulled it gets very weak.Put it on a lift for awhile and the frame starts to bend again just by the weight of the car.

And if all you were to do was pull it and leave it then I'd agree with you.
The proper way would be to replace the right apron and radiator support with new metal.
