I have def noticed a big difference this year, global warming is def here. right now the offshore water temp is still 53degrees, its usually under 50 this time of year. sea scallops usually spawn out from august to the 1st few weeks of steptember, this year they didnt even start spawning until september. after spawning the meats shrink for a while, usually their fat again in november but since they just finished spawning in the begging of october the meats are small now and its nearly november!
and when it comes to fish, right now all the large fish are hanging out in the deep like 60-100fathoms, only the small fish have moved back shallower(~20fathoms) where they usually are this time of year. even 1 degree change of ocean water temps has huge effects!
and wtf its nearly november and all the oak leafs are still green!
