i think you can do the front pump spring with the pump in the tranny But it is MUCH easier to do it with it out of the car and flipped over. and make sure they gave you a print out of were all your check balls are supposed to go!! and while your there check to make sure the balls havent cut a groove in the programing plates. if so go to a tranny shop and buy new ones!!
