Had a run in with a Tesla S vs. the Z last night on the way home from work... It didn't go well for the Z
Tesla driver was your typical rich asshat (my car is better than yours)
But what I found most histerical was after blowing by me and then using 2/3 more stoplights to show off - about 2 miles up the road I passed him going 10 MPH below the speed limit...
(He ended up seeing my tail lights after all
)
I bet he used all his juice for the few stoplight jaunts....
You COULD NEVER convince me to buy a $100K an all electric sports car if it can't do more than 2/3 back to back jaunts to 60mph
I even remembered the Car & Driver review - They were specifically told to do one 1/4 mile run and immediately plug it in for fear of unrepeatable speed results due to power loss
