I love this video, it clearly shows how you can have a car that outclasses your opponent in every way and get beaten (or make a good showing in this case) by a better driver. This should have been a slaughter.

the veyron SUCKS sorry in the quarter mile its a slug. only starts coming alive at TOP TOP speeds. were can you use that. The McLaren feels Awesome out of the hole Plenty of torque. and from that vid its obvious. hardly worth the price tag. id take a Mclaren anyday.

You need a LOT of road to really experience either of these cars.

That really might just be how a Veyron launches, considering it has four turbos and is pretty heavy (over two tons IIRC). It probably has different launch modes as well. With an automated manual transmission it might not be as easy as just holding down both pedals and then letting go of the left one.

regardless, you are talking a 10 second car vs an 11 sec car, he flat out got schooled off the line. Granted this guy jumps the start but watch it takeoff in the first run here and this guy backs off for a split second, and this is a modified GT-R which is one of the best launching cars ever made.
