was wondering if anyone on here is running tsp true duals? i want to change out my exhaust and i was looking at the tsp true dual setup, anyone know the laws in mass for having the exhaust dump before the rear axle?

I'm running true duals but they are not the same as yours! lol

The exhaust MUST go past the rear wheels to be legal.

that's what i thought, i wonder how long i could get away with running the true duals being that i get my inspection done from a friend

Why bother? IMO a regular catback isn't holding you back to warrant it other than being able to say you have duals. Why not get a different catback?

true! i just like the sound of the true dual set up. i'll most likely just change out the lm1 ressy to a borla xr1

Yeah for the expense of that exhaust I would run something like an aerochamber instead, it would sound great on you setup and wouldn't cost you any significant power.

I remember the Mercedes Benz SLR AMG had exhausts that exited right in front of the front doors, is that still technically illegal, even if it's factory?

I know what you mean. Maybe look into a spintech muffler or a dynatech race muffler.. would be a bit different

The exhaust by mass state law has to exit in the factory location and meet or exceed oe noise and emission standards. So just by putting headers on your car is illegal. I say fuck it and do what you want. If there gunna be dicks(police) about you having a loud car its the same ticket weather the exhaust exits the rear or not.
