On the road
I never got around to making a thread on here, but if you're on my FB you know that Saturday morning I left for a six week cross country trip. At the moment I'm in Albuquerque, NM. The route out passed through CT, NY, PA, OH, IN, MO, OK, and TX. Made a stop in St Louis to see the Gateway Arch and Busch stadium, the rest of the time has been pretty much straight driving, 8-10 hours a day. It was going pretty smoothly until my AC died yesterday, in Texas of all places, that definitely sucked. Trying to get it fixed right now so I have a little down time. New Mexico is very high up, about a mile above sea level right now, went as high as 7,000 ft coming through. My car can barely get out of it's own way in the thin air, it's amazing how much power it loses. Once I can get moving again I'll be heading on to Arizona and the Grand Canyon, the first big stop of the trip. I was going add some pics and link them here but I can't get on Photobucket on the wifi network where I am.
