I think this is going to be something for me to tinker with to keep that side of me happy. I have to have something to tinker with or I'll go out of my mind... like I am now. It's too expensive to tinker with the R32..... and too much of a PITA.

That's what I'm saying lol. Patina = rough paint untouched. No cost involved, plastidip would be a waste of $ imo.
