Body shell in primer.


Parts to be painted black.


Original shifter.


Rear end and transmission are disassembled. Some parts are worn out. Someone many years ago put a loose magnet inside. Reverse gears are stripped.

LOLOL there are as many parts and bolts in that whole car as an engine bay of a new car.

The engine is already back together. Precision Automotive in Simsbury rebuilt it about a year ago.

I believe that a lot of those bolts are for the frame/sheet metal parts.

David-
You'll be kicking yourself if you paint all that hardware.

The hardware (as well as all the shifter parts, and tons of other small detail parts) should be carefully cleaned then sent out for correct plating. Get in touch with Steve Gregori at Detail Plating http://www.detailplating.com/ .

little over 6 months. Not a Crazy Deadline. i bet they will do it. car needs WAYYY less work then the yenko did!
