Default bump stop.

Has anyone here done the bump stop mod on there throttle body? I was reading through 8 pages on ls1tech and 75% of people claim they can feel a difference the other 25% says its useless.

Heard it was useless, and has the potential to damage TPS. (at least my dummy had that problem with an LT1)

Depends how much you grind but yes it helps to open the throttle body more

might be something worth doing if im bored. Im not looking for any real gains or anything, im more curious if someone would actually feel a difference if its opened up a few degree's more. I heard it cant go over 90 degree's or i will through a ses code. Im taking my intake apart anyways to put the ram air system on and to clean the maf so i might do it at the same time. Or maybe ill do it after to see if there is any gain. hmmm anyone else on here ever done it?

Just buy one of those ported ones on ebay bump stop done and they are opened up. For 60 bucks can't beat it.

If it's stored. Send it to us with a return label and $$. Easier if it's just sitting.
