Opinions, if I were to get a hot cam for cheap, would it be worth it to try and find a used set of lt4 springs or just buy new springs. Also, would the 1.5 stamped stock rockers be safe to run with the cam? (just for the time being, I would upgrade to NSA in the near future just don't wanna drop the coin on it all right now lol )
Just pondering ideas in my head, and this seems to be a really cheap and easy way to make some extra power with out changing much

Your are 6 speed or auto I forget? Tuning will also be added to the list. Never buy used springs. And the cam specs aren't listed as a 1.5 cam but speced out for 1.6 rockers. Not saying 1.5s won't work if they were roller. but the stock 1.5 rockers will not work. The rocker will travel past the valve tip and side load the valve causing mayhem! Spend your money once. Do it all or nothing at all.

Any thought on these? http://www.alexsparts.com/lt1-valve-...rs-locks-cups/ Just saw them on ls1tech, and havent looked into them at all. And I didn't figure the stock rockers would work lol And yep, I know a tune would be needed, Id prob send back to madz28 and tweak if needed.

Do you have a stall yet? If not don't waiste your time with a cam. It will run like shit. Stall first then cam to go with your choice of stall. Ie. Ss3000 3200 or I say the 3600. After seeing and riding in tonys car!

vette converters are 2500 f bucket is 2200. and the lt4 HOT CAM didnt come in the LT4 Vette stock. its just named the LT4 hot cam kit because GM Marketed it with the LT4 head conversion package in the mid 90's. and you will gain more seat of the pants if you do a stall vs. a cam first. the cam will lug down low and be real hard to detune the richness at low rpm loads. like i sed it will run like crap. maybe i should have sed for street use. at the track your 60 foots will suck but it will run good up top. i say save up and do a converter FIRST before any real motor work. you wont believe the difference.
