I would suggest you add a second blow off before the cooler. Helps the turbo bearings.

Yeah man looks good! Will be ready by spring for sure! And do what slowhawk sez. Sams car had an issue with that and I believe that fixed it. Best to ask him.

Ya no kidding people always want a "budget build" but you just can't do a cheap set up that will actually work. Ya maybe once or twice but how fun is that tearing stuff apart every week.
I never really had an idea of what I wanted to spend but the little things add up so fast nobody gets it until they try and do one of these projects. Just like you said nobody gets it you can't slap a turbo on and drive it doesnt work that way! if I picked a number I'm $3000+ more than I wanted to spend. But as you know its never ending I already want upgrades and I haven't even fired it up yet!

Yes, building a car like yours is a money loser for a shop like us. A ton of time to do. I remember you said it would be done last july. I laughed..

Atleast it gets done right, good enough to blow apart the motor then take it aprt for bigger. LOL

If i had a shop like yours and someone asked me to do all the work that we have done I would charge 30k EASY!!! People dont get it how much time and effort goes into this stuff. So i'm sure you get the daily call "how much to put a turbo on my car?" that must piss you off!!!!!!!!!!

haha ya i wanted it done in April hahahaha but i could have had it done if i wanted to slap something together for it to last 1 pass and look like shit but just like you said when you want something right you have to take time and do a lot of research.

Yup thats why i have another motor in my garage i'm building over the winter LOL its a friggen addiction.
