you have to remove the bump stops for 17 by 11's i did and everyone i know who has had them has had to modify or reove them.

whys that? i have 18x10's in the rear, would they cause problems?

Nope only the 11" wide wheels cause the problem I guess.

17 inch by 11" make the issue the extra inch tall and inch less make the difference with yours. I have tt2's in 17x10.5 but I don't have bumpstops anyways. Nick just cut the bump stops cause the wheels stick out now never mind with spacers. the bump stops arent really need anyways.

I had to remove my bumpstops too and Im on 18x10.5 in the back. It seemed fine with the stops while the car was on the ground but it was too close to chance.

Yeah, I had to cut the bumpstops out of my 87 when I put the 18x10.5's on the back.
Once in a while over big bumps with the kids in the back I notice it but it's not the end of the world. Course it's also why I went 9.5" wide on my new wheels on the 95.
