Non saying I would beat him, but I would hold my own (up to 120mph). I would guess the differencial between a turbo GTM and The Areo would be about 200 hp at the crank. With the gearing and extra 500lbs in weight, I believe it would be a divers race until the gearing and CD of the Areo took over. The GTM is a poor mans super-car, the Areo is world class, but with enough engine..... the gap can be nearly mitigated.

This is the one I was comparing it to.....

2006 - SSC Ultimate Aero. Styling of the Aero includes the use of butterfly doors similar to those found on the McLaren F1 and Enzo Ferrari. Carbon fiber and titanium are used throughout the car, helping to limit the weight to 1,293 kilograms (2,850 lb) for the standard Aero. SSC Ultimate Aero - this is the final version of the prototype. Has increased engine displacement of 6.34 L (387 cu in) and increased boost of 14 psi (0.97 bar).

Technical specification

Engine - Superchargerd V8 Chevrolet
Horsepower - 1,046 bhp (780 kW; 1,061 PS) @ 6950 rpm
Torque - 1,113 N·m (821 lb·ft) @ 6200 rpm
Redline - 7200 rpm
Max Speed - 400 km/h (249 mph)[5]

Don't envy me, I am simply older than most of you and I planned years for this build. I got an idea, lend a hand and make that part of the build your own. I could use a lot of assistance in proper design of the turbo set up. You up for helping a brotha out?

Question.....gloss black or matte black for the roof?

The body will be Viper Copper Head orange. The roof was going to be graphite but the painter has talked me out of metal flake on metal flake. He wants gloss black I am thinking more flat. He said any wax or polishing could shine the matte uneven and basically ruin the paint job.

Thoughts?
