did a quick search, and couldn't find one for much cheaper, looks like 10 or 20 bucks difference.

I <3 the sound of magnaflow catback with LT's and ORY!!! mellow idle and low rpm sound and it sounds great at like 2500/3k-forever. But we all know a stock LT1 cant rev forever because that would be too much never-ending epicness.

I also will add that I believe rectangular/oval shaped exhaust tips make the exhaust sound great. I went from magnaflow cannons to SLP CME and changed the whole sound they're like trumpets....

I'm gonna be dumping it under the car so no "cat back", I'm looking for JUST a muffler, cause I'm cheap when I can be...

poly motor mounts, car already vibrates some. Remeber this is not my DD, and alot of things that would bug the shit out of most people wouldn't bother me, but at the same time it goes the other way to.

i dunno try running your car open headers for a cruise of 40 miles round trip and wen you get out and your ears ring..... DD or not i wouldnt dump it anywere but after the axle. thats my 2 cents. i think tonys car has the Best "race" exhaust here. and an exhaust shop could make it for fucking Cheap!

Well, open headers vs some kinda of muffler dumped around the axle is gonna be a big difference. When i say dumped i mean I wont have tips sticking out the back. So before, over or after the axle wont matter to me very much. Only gonna be a few more inches of pipe.

Remember I'm trying to keep costs down, which is why i didn't go stainless, i would have paid more for a full stainless exhaust then i did for the car.... Im cutting corners in places that dont matter.

:edit: whats tony have for an exhaust set up?

If you want a cheap exhaust do what I did and put a single in/out muffler in place of the stock one with an elbow and turn down. I have a Hooker Aerochamber muffler that would fit if you are interested, only has about 100 miles on it. Bought it to see if it would sound different than the Magnaflow I have now but it was pretty much the same so I took it back off.

After looking back at the paper work, it has a new muffler on, and I'm pretty sure its a magnaflow in place of the stocker. Ill check again in the morning to make sure its still there LOL and if it is it isnt near loud enough.

Serious question, if it is a magnaflow, there wouldnt be a big difference in putting yours or an aerochamber on in place of it correct? Even dumping it?

I think thats the case but wanna make sure.

No if you have an aftermarket muffler in place of the stocker it won't be much louder if at all.
