Thanks everybody! As of right now all I will be doing is getting it back on 4 wheels so I can get it the shop to check for frame damage. The car will be fixed but I don't when/how long. The car needs a total rear clip put on it. This more than a winter project! When I do fix it it will be getting a total makeover as far as paint is concerned. Luckily the engine/trans is still good. I will be checking the rearend/suspension in the near future.

I think a part of me just died.....I'm surprised at how much damage there is on the side where the studs sheared. You must have smacked into that wall pretty hard. Glad your ok tho!

It looks like the right rear hit the wall and caused the left quarter to buckle

not sure if it's just me... but it really doesn't look too bad from a structural angle if the rear end isn't bent (but maybe the axle shaft is), but to get it back on the ground and rolling might not be too bad. The rest looks more cosmetic.
then again there could be a lot I'm not seeing in the pics.
(just thinking optimistically)
good thing you walked away
hope you didn't stain the seat though....

Sorrry to hear that Ron. It'll be back and better than before knowing you. You'll have something up your sleeve other than that cane of yours! In all serious glad your alright. Has to make for one hell of a story when you tell it.

A friend of mine stopped by at lunch and looked at and said the frame is bent just behind the rear wheel( I saw it now looking at it) but it isn't that bad at all. Once the frame is fixed a lot of the damage should come out pretty easy.
I will be fixing the brakes/wheel studs and getting it to my friends frame machine soon. I may be able to drive it after the frame gets fixed.

like I said if the rear is straight then at least it's drive-able. (just need to fix the brakes and replace studs)
So you'll look funny running with your ass off center. You've spent enough time around Pizza to say that it's nothing new. :hump2:

Thanks again everybody!
Fixing the wheel studs this weekend and going to frame shop in the next week or two to get the frame straightened.
Should be up and running again soon minus the bodywork/paint that it needs now.
